Are the ZAPPAZ eBikes waterproof? Can I ride in the rain?

ZAPPAZ eBikes are water-resistant but not submersible. You can definitely ride them in the rain as long as you don't ride through flood water!

You can lightly clean it with a garden hose but avoid using pressure hoses or jet power washers.

Can I test ride the bike before buying?

Of course! We have demo bikes available for test ride at our storage facility in Newcastle, NSW. Please contact us to arrange a day / time.

What if my bike needs repairs / servicing?

Title

It is rare for our ZAPPAZ eBikes to require repair.
Make sure to apply standard bike servicing such as oil lubrication on parts, regular air checks, and brake adjustments to be performed by yourself or any bike repair shop to ensure it stays in the best condition.

For any major eBike repairs / servicings we recommend contacting us so we can direct you to the nearest eBike repair technician in your area.

Please see the manual to ensure proper maintenance.

How can I protect my eBike from theft?

Our ZAPPAZ eBikes are lockable and have a built-in sound alarm when the theft sensor is triggered.

In addition to this we recommend using a high quality lock and GPS tracking options for added security.

What is the legality of this bike?

Title

There are various ZAPPAZ Electric Bike models available.
For the Thunder Cougar Electric Dirt Bike model, it is made specifically for off-road and private property usage.

In NSW Australia, you are unable to ride an Electric Bike exceeding 500W on the roads.

We suggest checking your state's eBike laws to be sure.
